My So Called Life

Yes, I used the title of the television show from the 90s.  It is a show of my generation after all and who did not watch it from my generation?  Well who of the alternative style kids did not watch it?  Alternative, now there is a phrase that meant something completely different when I was growing up, just like punk rock, hardcore and a million other things.  It is funny how life changes.  How the vernacular changes as time goes on. 

So let's get to my life so far.  What have I been doing since I last posted?

I've passed my Level 1 Belt test for Krav Maga.  I was even one of I believe ten people singled out for doing an exceptional job.  That surprised me when the Instructor called my name.  I was trying my damnedest to be aggressive and go, go, go.  I guess I succeeded. 

I still work for the same company, doing the same thing, fire alarm inspections.  It's a job and it pays my bills, I can't really ask for more than that.

I do have plans for my future though.  I want to open a store devoted to the nerd/geek/gamer/horror fandom.  Maybe have a coffee bar in it also.  It would be something I love and I would get to be my own boss.  How awesome would that be?

This here blog post is going to be short and sweet though.  I do think I am going to start doing one once a week on a topic.  Just a random topic that I choose.  It could be politics, movies, music, games, books, food.  Just something that has caught my attention and I feel like talking about.
